     Assam Police has released an notification for recruitment of 173 Jail Warder Posts of Prison Department of Assam Police.

Name of Post : Jail Warder

No of Posts : 135 + 38 = 173 nos.

Male : 153 posts

Felale : 20 posts

Eligibility :

      (i) Essential for Male Warder 

(a) HSLC or Class X passed from a recognize Board 

(b) Candidate should produce undertaking as to know by-cycling.

     

      (ii) Essential for Female Warder

(a) Must have passed Annual examination of class VIII by a govt. recognized school.

Age : 18 to 38 years as on 1st January 2020 ( Candidate must be born on before 01/01/2002 and after 01/01/1982).

Age Relaxation : Upper age limit will be relaxed by 5(Five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC,ST(P) and ST(H) and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.

Pay : Pay Band Rs.14000-49000/- With Grade Pay Rs. 5000/- per month 

Application Fee: NIL 

Selection Process : Candidates whose applications are Sound correct in as respect will have to undergo the Physical Standard Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) .
